yards: 65 (90) 120 (150) 200

Secondary color (for hat band and pompom)
You will need the following amounts of a worsted (4) weight yarn given as: baby (toddler) child (adult) adult large
meters: 45 (50) 65 (70) 75
yards: 50 (55) 70 (75) 80
Sample was made using Big Twist in the color “Tweed”. Big Twist is a 97% acrylic 3% viscose, worsted weight (4) yarn that contains 350 meters (382 yards) per 170 grams (6 ounces).
Some yarn alternatives include:
1. Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted
3. Beanstalk Worsted (Jimmy Beans Wool)
These yarn alternatives are all great worsted-weight options for the main red portion of the hat. Keep in mind, though, that not all of them will give the same textured effect as Big Twist “Tweed” when used for the ribbing and bobble details.

The hat is worked in joined rounds.
The pompom is worked in un-joined rounds, use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round.
When stitch counts are different for each size they are give as follows: {baby, toddler, child, adult, adult large}
