FAQs
How do I receive my purchased pattern?
My patterns are available as PDF digital downloads. Upon your pattern purchase, you will be sent an email with an exclusive link for downloading the pattern directly to your computer. Please note that this link will be valid for 24 hours, so ensure you download the pattern onto your personal computer or device as I am unable to retain your file for you.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of a PDF download, I do not accept returns. The listing for each pattern contains detailed information on sizing, fit, difficulty level, and the materials needed to complete the pattern. Please read carefully before making a purchase.
Note: I do not sell any physical items. All products listed on this site are digital PDF pattern downloads.
Can I sell finished items made from your patterns?
Yes. However, please credit Stitch and Hound for the design using the following guidelines:
When selling online, clearly state “pattern by Sarah Truesdell” with a link to stitchandhound.com
When selling at brick-and-mortar stores, or in person at craft fairs, clearly display “pattern by Sarah Truesdell can be found at stitchandhound.com”
Mass production or factory manufacturing of any kind using our patterns is not permitted
What do beginner, easy, intermediate, and advanced actually mean?
I follow Craft Yarn Council Standards when labeling pattern difficulty levels. I also include a description in the pattern listing explaining why I chose a specific difficulty level. You can find more information on pattern difficulty levels in the Craft Yarn Council Standards.
