The Cotton Safari Washcloths were created as a contribution to the 2024 crochet washcloth patterns blog hop organized by Two Brothers Blankets. A blog hop is a collaborative event where multiple designers come together to share their unique patterns. Difficulty
This is an EASY level pattern. A simple stitch pattern and basic shaping are used to make these washcloths

Washcloth height: 17 cm (6.5 inches)
Washcloth width: 14 cm (5.5 inches)
Yarn
You will need the following amounts of a DK/light weight (3) yarn for each washcloth
meters: 80
grams: 50
Sample was made using Knit and Crochet Essential yarn. Essential yarn is a 100% cotton, light weight (3) yarn that contains 156 meters (180 yards) per 100 grams (3.5 ounces). The following colors were used:
Lion: Golden Coast
Alligator: Rain Forrest
Elephant: Grey Dark
You will also need a small amount of black, white, and pink embroidery thread or thin cotton yarn.

Techniques Used
The Cotton Safari Washcloths are created using a simple single crochet stitch pattern. There is minimal shaping and some seaming. The faces of the washcloths are created using embroidery, however, video tutorials are provided for all washcloth animals.
