Finished Measurements

Given as: length x width x height

Centimeters: 20 x 6 X 10

Inches: 8 x 2.5 x 4

Yarn

You will need the following amounts of a worsted weight yarn:

  • Color A: 130 meters (140 yards)

  • Color B: 95 meters (100 yards)

Sample was made using Lion Brand 24/7 cotton in the colors “jade” and “ecru”. 24/7 Cotton is a worsted weight (4) yarn that contains 186 yards (170 meters) per 3.5 ounces (100 grams)

Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton is a great choice for crocheting the Bobble Notions Bag due to its sturdy structure, which provides the perfect balance for a functional yet stylish makeup or pencil bag. Its mercerized finish gives the bag a subtle shine, making it a durable and long-lasting accessory.

When choosing a yarn substitute, look for a cotton yarn that offers durability and structure, ensuring your bag holds its shape and doesn’t become too floppy. Some great substitutes would be:

  1. Lily Sugar ‘N Cream

  2. Bernat Handicrafter
